It was the International Decade for a Culture of Peace and Nonviolence for the Children of the World. Herewere many changes, especially in the field of new technologies as they have progressed in this area, such as the vidiogames, the computers or the telephones.

Halloween

1.- When is it celebrated? And Why?
It's celebrated in Octuber 31. Because it initates the tridum of Hallowmans the time in the liturgical year dedicated remebering the dead, including saints (hallows), matyrs, and all the faithful departed believers. 

2.- What does Halloween mean?
Halloween means alls saint's day
3.- How do people celebrate?
They celebrate the Halloween decorating the hous and playing a game call it "Trik or Treat", that is to go to houses to ask for sweats and wear costumes. 
4.- Where is it celebrated?
it's celebrated in Belgium, Austria, Canada, China, Czechoslovakia, England, France, Germany, Hong kong, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Spain and Sweden.

1 Last summer

My last summer holidays: Hello my name is Pau, and today I'm going to talk about my last summer holidays. First of all I want to explain my trip in Gloucester, second I’m going to talk about Platja D'aro and finally I’m going to explain my preseason of football. Let’s start! First of all I went to Gloucester, I stayed there for three weeks with Gerard, Laura and other friends like Pol. We had a good time there and I stayed with a lovely family. We visited other cities like London or Cardiff. In London we visited different places and I went to Abercrombie. In Cardiff I saw the Millennium Stadium where the people of there play professional rugby. There I met new friends from France, China or Japan. After that I went to Platja D'aro, and I stayed there for 6 weeks. There I met new friends and we had a really good time. We did a lots of things like playing football in the beach or volleyball, go to swim in the sea, go fishing or go to discos in the night to met new boys and girls or just for have fun dancing. When we returned home, we were all sad because we had spent many memorable experiences together. And finally I started the football season with my team, it was difficult at first because we did not run during the summer and we were very tired but then the work gave results because we played against Madrid and Betis and we won at Villareal! It was fantastic experience because we shared with the best teams of Spain. We also start the league against Gavà and Damm, and hopefully get good results! Pol: Hey, Bernat, what on earth is that? pau:Oh, I got it this morning. What do you think? Do you like it? Pol: Mmm. I'm not convinced. Pau: Don't you think it's interesting? LADY GAGA

The rumor is that Lady Gaga has called her now album ARTPOP, wich must be written in capitals. ARTPOP is "pop art" in reverse. Gaga is a big fan of pop art, a 1950s art movement which transformed ordinary objects, like a can of soup, into art. She is fascinated by pop artist Andy Warhol, who died in 1987. She says that he speaks to her in her dreams

Bernat- Yes, one or two. Have you?
Pau- No. What about this one? Is it any good?
Bernat- I'd only recommend that if you like really bad musicals.
Pau- No, i don't fancy that.

Pau- What's that? Mission to Planet Q? No, I'm not a big fan of science fiction. I'd prefer a comedy.
Bernat- A comedy... er... OK, well, try this one. It's got a really funny plot. I think you'll like it.

RAMBO

I'd like to recommend a film which I've watched recently, called Rambo. The director of the film is Sylvester Stallone.

It is an action film and the setting is Vietnam during the Cold War. The main character is one man. Jonh Rambo is an American man, he was nerver married, but he was in a brief relationship with the deceased Vietnamese freedom fighter, Co Bao,  who was killled after they made plans of going back to America together.
The things I liked most about the film were the character, John and the theme of the wars. Some of the scenes are memorable because they're very exciting, but the plot is very simple because it's dedicated only to kill.
All in all, I really liked the film, because I want to be like him.

A star family

Bratain's favourite family, the Beckhams, are now in Paris. David and Victoria are famous for sport, music and fashion, but their kids have talents too. Here is their story.. Britian loves David Beckham. He is a famous football player who has played for the world's biggest clubs including Manchester United, Real Madrid, Ac Milan and now Paris Saint Germain. He also played for his country, England, for a record 115 games and scored 17 times.

David is married to Victoria Bekham who was a singer in the successful girl group from the 1990s: the Spice Girls. Her nicknames was Posh Spice! Everyone watched when David and Victoria got married in 1999. The wedding was in a castle in Ireland and was inspired by fairytales. the couple had thrones, just like a king and queen, and they sold the photos to a magazine for 1 million of pounds.

Calvin Harris is a famous DJ. He makes electropop and electro house music. H also writes and produces songs for other artists, including Kylie Minogue, Rihanna and Ke$ha. His third album, 18 Months is out now. I has the catchy single "Feel so Close".... and it's a nice change from listening to David Guetta!

Bruno Mars

2012 was a busy year for Bruno Mars. The singer from Hawaii became an international star and played concerts around the world. Bruno released his first album, Doo-wops & Hooligans, in 2010. Bruno is a talented musician: he grew up in a musical family and plays drums, guitar, keyboard, bass, piano and harmonica. His second album, Unorthodox Jukeboix is sure to be a hit.

Alicia Keys

Alicia Keys is famous for her pop songs, but did you know she is also an excellent classical pianist? Her first album was a big success and made her the best-selling R&B artist of 2001. Her new album is doing well too. Alicia says she wants it to inspire her famle fans. YOu might know the songs "Gril on Fire" and "Brand New Me". Do they inspire you?

Is a internet addiction really a problem?

Yes, because many people have no control, that is, becaomes addicted. Thera re a lot of peoploe who think that the real life is more boring than internet.

And when poeple think this, htey spend a lot of time for play in the games or for stay in the chat rooms.

Another problem when this people must go to shcool they do like hi is ill for continued play games or stay in the chat rooms.

Also increasingly this people who are addicted in the internet, are fat because the don't do exercise.

I think that all this people needs to talk to seme professional help.

Writing unit 5: Write a biography of a star

Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano ronaldo was born in Portugal in 1981. He started to play football when he was five years old, when he played with the Sporting of Lisboa. In 2004 he signed a contract with Manchester United.

His big trophy was in 2007 when he won the Golden Ball. But all the people knew him when he signed a contract in 2009 with Real Madrid for 80 milion pounds. He became one of the top scorer in Real Madrid.

Since then, Cristiano and his team won only three trophies but he won individually many other trophies for scoring goals. Last Sunday he scored a hat-trick.

TV HIGHLIGHTS: Unit 2

The highlight of this week's TV was definitely the drama series Castle. In the last episode Castle and Kate fell in love.

Another drama series in Cuarto Brigada de Carreteras. In friday's episode, the teams killed the person who kill murdered the victim.

Finally, something which also caught my eye was a sports program of LOS MANOLO. They explain everything about man, and also the life of the sportiest.

Pau: Hey,Cairlin! I haven't seen you for a while.
Bernet: Hi, Tom.
Pau: You look happy.
Bernat: Oh, yes, I've just auditioned for a band.
Pau: Really? Tell me about it. What happened?
Bernat: Well, it was really good. There were five or six other people there, but I think that they liked me beast.
Pau: That's good news. I'm glad to hear it. I hope it works out well for you.
Bernat: We'll see. What about you? How have been?
Pau:  Ok. No news, really. So, maybe see you soon on TV!
Bernat: Yes, maybe ! see you arround.

I think that internet is a problem because many people have no control, and they is, become addicted to it there are a lot of poeple who think that the real life is more boring than the internet.
