Futbol
Club Barcelona (Barça), was created by a group of Swiss, English and
Catalan footballers led by Joan Gamper, the club has become a symbol
of Catalan culture. The name became for the city of Barcelona. It was
founded in 29 November 1899.
It
is famous because is the most successful club in Spain, because they
won 83 titles. It became more popular when in 1992 beat Sampdoria and
won the Champions League in Wembley. But before of it, Barcelona had
problems when Republic and Civil War, because in the team people were Catalan and the other people of Spain were angry.
These
days, Barcelona is popular all over the world. There are competing in
the best competitions and they had good results.
